Back from baby break and straight into the fray – I had a wonderful time at Helensburgh Noir at the Bar this month.

Fabulous authors, ravenous readers and a fantastic signing event. There was so much talent around, I am in awe… and also frantically clearing my TBR pile to make space for all the books I bought (always fun when you can score a signed copy).

Noir at the Bar events are happening across the country. Do check them out, they’re a brilliant way to discover fresh writing talent, without getting bored by authors droning on about their books.
